This paper presents the method of determining the rotation period of the radar antenna system by using the autocorrelation function. The characteristic signal distortions, arising during the reflection from the troposphere, is shown, the necessity of using of the autocorrelation function with a signal pre-filtering is established. In this article autocorrelation function is drawn, intercomparison of the metrological characteristics from the different methods of period definition was made, were created recommendations about autocorrelation function using in the signal period calculation in the passive multiposition systems.References
